You can make an amazing product, but without the audience, it’s as good as worthless. You need to get traffic. The common mistake here is, that people try to generate traffic for their new and totally unknown website. This is a very hard challenge.
There is a better way! Go, where the traffic already is. Your online presence will help you a lot with this. Follow social media, there’s a lot of traffic you can use to your advantage.
Once you have the tools to get people to your site, you need to build a system to get the most out of this, namely to convert this traffic to real customers.
Let’s start with a little known, yet amazing service you can use for free right now! It’s Quora.
I’ve created my account on Quora only recently, but I must say it is an amazing tool. My first response got more than 250 views in less than 8 hours. I would only dream about this anywhere else. Yes, I still consider myself a beginner trying to establish a strong online presence.
Quora can help with this task very well.
What is Quora?
Quora is basically questions and answers. What’s really important is it’s popularity on the Internet and the traffic Quora enjoys.
As I wrote at the beginning of this article, there’s no sense to struggle for traffic if there’s already huge traffic on the Internet. You just need to know where it is and how to take advantage of it.
Quora has traffic, a lot of it, no question about it. But how can you take advantage of this traffic?
Here’s my step-by-step guide:
- Sign up with Quora. It’s for free.
- Fill out your profile and find your niche based on your specialty.
- Search for a popular question with a lot of followers.
- Post answer to this question and make it worth reading.
- Wait for people to Upvote your answer, more Upvotes means more popularity and more traffic.
Don’t try to abuse Quora. Post quality answers. These are not one or two short sentences, but something like a regular blog article.
Here’s an example. Take a look at my answer to What’s the easiest way to make money online?
As of writing this article, I have 229 Views and 1 Upvote.
Create blog on Quora
Little know feature of Quora is a blog. You can create a blog on Quora and if you choose the right name base on some popular search keywords, it will appear among the search results for these keywords!
Take a look at the images below:
As you can see on the first image, if I search for “make money online” which is a pretty popular topic, I will get my blog as a result. On the second image, you can see how my blog on Quora looks like.
Now people might get directly to your blog, or you can refer to your blog from the answer you will leave for the questions you are interested in.
MailerLite is a number one newsletter service for beginning online entrepreneurs because it allows you to use its services for free until you will get your first 1.000 subscribers. This is a huge deal!
They have great newsletter templates, they have a very intuitive interface and they offer autoresponders as well.
I personally use MailerLite for my lead capture page you can find here. If you open this page, you won’t find any MailerLite branding, it’s totally free of any mentions about the service behind.
On top of that, you can use your own domain as well, and it’s included for free!
This landing page has two states. The first one is what you will get once you access the page, the second one will appear after you enter your e-mail and hit the Get The Handbook button.
Take a look at the images below:
As you can see in the second image, the subscriber will receive the e-mail. This is another great feature of MailerLite. You can setup autoresponder which will send e-mails automatically on your behalf.
In this case, the e-mail looks like this:
You can modify pretty much anything, so your automatic e-mail will fit your needs.

The last tool I want to show you in this article is Crowdfire. Crowdfire will help you getting more followers on Twitter and Instagram. You can use it for free if you’re happy with the limitation to one Twitter and one Instagram account, or you can upgrade if you need to manage more accounts from one dashboard.
Crowdfire offers two key features:
- automatic direct messaging
- bot for tedious tasks like following and unfollowing multiple accounts
Automatic direct messaging
This is a perfect feature because it allows you to automatically send welcome or thank you message to your new followers and you can add some offer right into this message.
Getting new followers
This feature is based on the reciprocity of followers. It seems that people will follow you back if you follow them, not all, but some percentage will. You can create a growing strategy for you Twitter account on this.
Crowdfire suggests following the followers of your competitors, which makes sense because this way you are trying to get to people who are already interested in stuff you offer.
If you want to know more about Crowdfire, take this step-by-step guide, where I will teach you how to make it work for you:
